The Scalpel - Fire Sprinkler Contract

We are extremely proud to announce that we have been appointed to design and install the Sprinkler Fire Protection System to the Scalpel Tower – Lime Street, which is located in the heart of The City of London

The new office tower, designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, stands right in the heart of the cluster that includes the Cheesegrater and Gherkin, alongside the Lloyds and Willis buildings.

It's also a whopper. At 190 meters tall, it'll loom 10 meters over than The Gherkin like an encroaching picnic knife.

The Sprinkler Fire Protection System will include...

• Sprinkler Protection comprising 5 individual installations and concessions

• Multi-4 stage Sprinkler fire pumps

• Multi-2 stage Wet riser system together with water storage tanks for both Sprinkler System and Wet Riser

• 18 No Pre-Action System complete with detection

  
  

• Deluge. High Velocity Sprinkler Protection to Backup Generators
  
• Foam Deluge Protection System to Fuel Oil Tanks
  

The installation has commenced on site.
