Huge congratulations to all of the team involved on our recently completed major fire suppression project in London, valued in excess of £4 Million pounds.
After a complex bid and tender process, Thameside Fire was awarded the prestigious six-floor fit-out project. This significant undertaking involved a combination of water mist, sprinkler, and IG55 gas suppression systems, all while ensuring that the other floors within the building remained fully operational to meet the client's ongoing needs.
Our London projects office was instrumental in the successful handover of the project to the client. Throughout the duration of the project, we faced numerous challenges, but thanks to the dedication and expertise of our team, we overcame these obstacles and managed to deliver the project on time and within budget.
The project involved replacing the outdated infrastructure with cutting-edge fire protection systems. Thameside Fire was responsible for installing new two-stage sprinkler pumps, new risers, and comprehensive protection across the newly fitted floors. In total, approximately 1,800 sprinkler heads were installed. Additionally, we integrated a mix of Watermist pre-action and wet systems on two of the floors to protect critical servers. A complex IG55 gas suppression system was also installed in the high-voltage electrical rooms, providing crucial protection to the building’s most sensitive areas.
Our team has been fully committed to delivering a wide range of fire protection solutions that meet the highest industry standards. This project is a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. Their commitment has been essential in bringing this complex project to a successful conclusion, and we’re proud of what has been achieved.
