Employee Anniversaries

We would like to acknowledge some of our longest serving employees, who have all been here for 30+ years and have been with us more or less from the get go.

Neill Cannon, Andy Belsey and Keith Wade have all been with Thameside Fire Protection since the mid 1980’s. We are extremely grateful for their contribution over the past 30 years, all have shown great commitment and dedication to see the company grow steadily each year.

Neill Cannon started in 1986 when he was just 16 years old, another who has gained regular promotion due to his dedication, Neill has gone on to become Service Director for Thameside Fire.

Andy Belsey started with us in 1987, he has dedicated his working life to Thameside Fire, gained regular promotion accordingly and has become one of the 2 company Managing Directors.

This month marks Keith Wades 30th anniversary with the company, Keith has shown great loyalty to us here and we appreciate all he has done for the extinguisher division in particular, he takes a lead role in our regular marine service works and other specialist areas, happy anniversary Keith.

Back in 1985 Thameside Fire was a new company, based in Tilbury, Essex. Since then we have upgraded premises several times and for the last 25 years have made Basildon our home. I’m sure Neill, Andy and Keith would agree that much has changed in that time. We have expanded steadily and solidly with national contracts as well as being awarded work throughout most European countries, due primarily to our dedicated and excellent workforce.
