Another project over the line for Thameside fire Protection

Following a comprehensive ROV inspection carried out for one of our valued customers, it was determined that both 625m3 water storage tanks required extensive refurbishment to ensure continued functionality and safety.

The project entailed a systematic approach, focusing on the safe isolation and draining of each tank individually. This method allowed us to maintain full protection of the client's critical sprinkler system throughout the refurbishment process.

Special attention was given to safeguarding the integrity of the sprinkler system, necessitating strategic countermeasures and continuous monitoring during the duration of the works. Our team installed new linings, vortex inhibitors, thermostats, and drain valves, enhancing the tanks' performance and longevity.

Moreover, in response to specific requirements from the fire brigade, we integrated 65mm instantaneous coupling valves into the system, ensuring seamless accessibility and operational readiness for emergency response.
